Well so far all I have really done is check prices to get and idea of whats currently available, and purchasing books, so far I have the restoration guides for the Tr4-TR4A & TR5/250-TR6, The Original Triumph TR4/4A/5/6, and I picked up the Originality guide Tuesday this week, I have picked up the original work shop manaul with the TR4A supplement and The Autopress TR4/4A work shop manual by Kenneth Ball.Other than this, all I have really been doing is checking the prices or the models I find for sale, and keeping track of the ones that are still available,( like the ones that do not sell on ebay), I have been using LemonFree.com, Ebay-motors, Craigslist.org, Hemmimgsmotors.com, for search sites, I have also checked the classified on the BritishCarForum.com and the TriumphExperience.com forums.
In my reading I have decided on the TR4A IRS and sticking with the 2.2 liter motor.
The main motivating factor is the lenth of time the 4 cylinder motor was used, and the body.
I just Love the Michelotti body.
