Finally

To everyone in SCTOA Thank You, I'm in Love.

The first problem to be addressed is the water pump has started leaking, and am considering replace it with a aluminum model along with the pump housing, also need to find the hardware for mounting the softtop frame, Mr. Bryant provided me a frame so it's getting the other hardware together.

current thoughts

Well, attended SCTOA meeting last night, left me feeling like I'm dragging my feet, Mr. Bryant picked up the TR6 from Guy & Mitzi, good show Mr. Bryant,( seems like a very likable person, but just makes me feel that much worst, really feel like I should have picked up the 69 from the guy in North Hills, but it was really bad off, but at least it was registered and running. So after almost two years of wanting I'm still in the same spot, well not quite the same spot since I have picked up most of the PI system. I planned to make the New Year's Day Drive. Will upload pictures of the parts I have so far of the PI system,(although I did make payment on the fuel pump cradle), which shows I have done something.

went to SCTOA meeting tonite, it was nice and Darnell went with me, which made it even better, thursday I'm to call Dan in Emeryville about his 69 TR6 and I still have to meet with Guy and Mitz about their 73, made a deal with a guy in kansa about a complete set of over rider bumpers 200.00.
well things keep moving right along, and hopefully I will have a car by June.

getting started

Well,
I'm finally getting started, or at lest it seems so, still haven't found the job I would like to have, or the TR4a but I have found a TR6 which it appears will be mine around the 5th of next month.
The car is a 73 TR6 shipped as Carmine red, will post pictures once it is officially mines. it's funny that when I started on this road I wanted a TR6 then after doing some investigating I decided on a TR4,( the IRS model), then saw that there was a TR250 and now I'm full circle at the TR6. if this does happen, will be painting it jasmine yellow and installing the Lucas PI,(petrol injection) system to give it the Euro effect.

September Update

Well nothing has really changed since my last post. Sports Car LA finally sold the 69 TR-6, but they do have a 74 TR-6 w/od for 7500.00, and Wilson Motors Cars still has the TR250. job situation still has not changed, in fact my last paycheck bounced, and it took until 09/03/2009 to get all of my money(including 12.00 for the check bouncing and 33.00 over draft fee). West Coast Sand & Gravel are hiring again so will be giving them a try, Mr. Tillman from Sprite LT is also still a hopeful. It's time to follow through on the USA Truck Driving School idea w/CRST and see if it is a go.

Decision partially made

I think even though I have fell in love with the Micholleti body, I still want the six pot, so the TR6 has to be considered.
Sports Car LA has this 69 TR6 available, and Wilson Motor Cars has this black and red TR250 available, neither has overdrive,(comments are welcome here), asking price for the TR6 6,000 and 12,000 for the TR250, as always these are just thoughts since I still have no money to buy either.
